Tagung unter der Leitung von Dr. Philipp Wicke (CAS Researcher in Residence/LMU).
As Artificial Intelligence continues to evolve, particularly with the advent of Large Language Models (LLMs), there is a growing need to go beyond purely textual interactions and embrace the richness of human communication, including non-verbal cues like gestures, facial expressions and body language. Key themes of the workshop are the role of embodied cognition in AI understanding, cultural variations in gesture interpretation, and the integration of gestures into LLMs.
Teilnehmer/innen sind u.a. Giulia Belgiovine (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia), Sven Mayer (LMU), Alex Binh Vinh Duc Nguyen (KU Leuven), Tessa Verhoef (Leiden), Marta Ziosi (Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative).
Philipp Wicke ist im Sommersemester 2025 Researcher in Residence am CAS.
